Terms of use

The current service

FreeFileTools provides free document tools that run in your browser. No account or subscription is required. The service supports the formats listed on each tool page and applies technical limits to file size, number of files, pages and rendering work.

Your documents

You retain your rights to documents you process. Selecting a file does not grant this service ownership of it. Use only files you are entitled to handle, and respect other people's privacy and document rights.

The conversion engines do not upload your selected documents. Ordinary website data is described separately on the privacy page.

Keep the original and inspect the output

Conversion can change fonts, page breaks, layout, tables and images. Merging, splitting or rewriting a PDF can affect forms, links, bookmarks and digital signatures. Strong compression turns pages into images and removes selectable text. Each tool page explains the relevant limitations.

Keep the original file. Open and inspect the result before sending it, replacing an original or relying on its content. These tools do not verify a document's factual accuracy, legal validity, ATS compatibility or accessibility.

Temporary results are available for up to 30 minutes in the browser session and can be released sooner when you reset, process another file or leave the page. Download any result you need; the service cannot recover it.

Availability and safe use

Conversion quality and uninterrupted availability are not guaranteed. Some supported files can still fail because they are damaged, protected, too demanding for the device or use features the implementation cannot reproduce.

Do not disrupt the service, attack its hosting or use automated requests that interfere with other visitors. Do not bypass document protection or access files you are not authorised to handle.

Contact and changes

The contact page lists current support availability. A public email and full operator details are not currently listed.

These conditions describe the current tools and their practical limits. Material changes to the service should be reflected in this page.
